Hedenbergite from Långban. As small black crystals in lower middle and upper left.

Habitus	Well developed prismatic crystals with square or octaedric cross section. Also as radiating or coarse aggregates.
Cleavage	Perfect, two planes in 87 degrees angle.
Hardness	5.5-6
Density	3.5-3.6
Color	Dark green to black.
Streak	Light grayish green.
Luster	Vitreous.
Description
Occurance	Created in contact metamorphic scarn with magnetite.
Associates	Magnetite
Notes
Locations	A common mineral in many sulphide and iron mines in central Sweden. Nordmark mines, Värmland. As good crystal groups. Långban, Värmland. Yxsjöberg scheelite mine, Västmanland. As brownish black aggregates.
